Description

What makes this guitar special: Not an expensive guitar to showcase, but gosh darn it - look how clean it is for being nearly 60 years old! This one's a true time capsule piece that was basically kept in its case for the past five decades. I mean, come on folks - look how freakin' shiny it is! It looks like it was made this morning! These old Harmony catalog guitars were rarely great players or had amazing voices, but they're certainly a lot of fun to collect because they're so in expensive & why not have the cleanest one on the block.

Cosmetic Condition: Fabulous condition - very clean & like new with practically no wear.

Neck: Nicely rounded, chunky maple neck with dark stained fingerboard & painted white block markers. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Stenciled headstock logos. 3-on-a-strip open-back tuners in good working condition. 1 3/4" nut width; 25" scale length. There's a slight bow in the neck, but the guitar still plays fairly well.

Body: Double-bound, maple body with dual F-holes. Nickel trapeze tailpiece with floating rosewood bridge. Tortoise plexi pickguard with Harmony logo. There's some nice figuring in the back of the body, which is also arched. 15 3/4" lower bout width; 11 1/2" upper bout width; 3 1/4" depth. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 4.1 oz.

Case: Original chipboard case included - also very clean!
