Description
A vintage 1961 Gretsch 6161 Electromatic Twin tube combo. This amp has a killer look and awesome vintage tone. It's 6973-powered output section delivers 14 watts into two 6x9" alnico speakers. The 4-inch “tweeter” has been disconnected for a better overall overdrive tone. The 6161’s warm, rounded clean tone quickly turns into a smooth, blues-y overdrive as you turn up the volume. On top of that it gives you a very musical tube-driven tremolo. This amp has been cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional and sounds fantastic.
