What makes this bass special: 100% original & in superb condition for its age. This gorgeous, Italian made hollow body is very similar to the Astro IV used by Bill Wyman. The sunburst finish is very vibrant & the body produces a really warm, almost upright bass tone with a rich acoustic resonance. Tons of fun to play & hard to put down. Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall - minor nicks & dings; light surface scratches & mild finish checking.
Neck: Super skinny maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Nicely figured rosewood fingerboard with silver dot inlays. Oversize headstock with dual string trees & gold Vox logo in great shape. Open-geared tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 7/16" nut width with zero fret; 30" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Violin-shaped, hollow body with dual F-holes. Trapeze tailpiece & floating adjustable bridge with original cover. Single-ply tortoise pickguard with finger rest. Bass weighs 6 lbs 12.2 oz.
Pickups: Single-coil bass pickups with chrome covers & large black bezels. Dual volume & master tone controls with cream "top hat" knobs & 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case is included.
