Description
Cosmetic Condition: A nice Italian-made Vox that's a little rough around the edges, but in pretty good shape overall. There are various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some play wear. The pickguard has aged into more of a cream color & shrunk a bit, with a few pieces that broke off near the neck area. Because the pickguard shrunk so much, we were unable to insert all the screws as the holes no longer match up with the body. The guitar has been professionally set up by us with a fresh pack of strings & low action, so it plays & sounds great!
Neck: Nicely rounded & somewhat chunky maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Super dark rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Original Vox nickel tuners are in good working condition. 1 5/8" nut width with zero fret; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid body finished in black with 3-ply pickguard. Tremolo tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge; bridge cover is missing. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 13.5 oz.
Pickups: Original single coils with dual tone & master volume controls; 3-way selector switch. The A-string pole piece in the neck pickup is not original & is a bit smaller than all the others. It is magnetized however & functions properly. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
