What’s special about this guitar: This is a highly unique hollow-body Vox Bobcat Electric Guitar. The pickups have a very unique single-coil tone that works well with the hollow body design. The slender neck is very comfortable and really makes playability effortless. The guitar also sports a vibrato tailpiece for added versatility.
Condition: Very good shape overall. Cosmetically there are various minor surface scratches, nicks, dings and some finish cracks throughout the guitar. There are repaired cracks running from either side of the neck pocket through the inside of the neck heel cavity that have been professionally glued and are showing no movement whatsoever (see photos). A couple of the plastic string guides on the tailpiece are broken but this does not affect playability. A switch on the pickguard is disconnected from the rest of the electronics but all electronics function perfectly otherwise. The fingerboard and frets show hardly any play wear and have tone of life left in them. The neck is slightly over-bowed but it very comfortable with nice action and the truss rod functions perfectly.
Body: Double-bound, hollow body with maple top, back and sides in sunburst finish. Vox vibrato tailpiece and rosewood based TOM bridge. Skirted metal control knobs, dual bound f-holes and a 3-ply white pickguard.
Neck: Slender three-piece maple neck with a bound Ebony fingerboard. Pearloid blick inlays, a zero-fret and a 1 5/8” nut. Bound headstock with open-gear nickel tuners and a 24 ¾” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original single-coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge with a master volume control, three tone controls and a 3-way selector switch. The switch on the pickguard is disconnected.

Middle: 5.96K Ohms.
Bridge: 5.54K Ohms.
