Description
Description: Vintage 1960s USA Made Kay N-7 N 7 N7 Acoustic Guitar
Condition: Good overall. The neck has a bit of a back bow resulting in high action. As it is currently set up it is an ideal slide guitar. There is a gap at the heel but it is not showing any movement. Various scratches, nicks, dings, dents, weather checking and lacquer cracks throughout the instrument. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear. All parts are original and in good working condition.
Body: Double “bound” body with maple top, sides and back in sunburst finish. There is some beautiful airbrushed light flame figuring throughout! Nickel tailpiece, ebonized bridge with metal saddle, two painted rings around the sound hole and a single-ply white pickguard.
Lower Bout: 17 3/8” wide x 4” deep. Upper Bout: 12 3/8” wide x 3 ¾” deep.
Neck: Chunky maple neck with maple fingerboard, white dot inlays and a 1 10/16” nut. Three-on-a-strip nickel tuners with ivoroid buttons, 25 ¾” scale length.
Playability/Sound: The action and thickness of the neck make this an exceptional slide guitar! The large body design produces a warm, full bodied sound.
Case: Does not include case.
