Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is an awesome vintage Truetone electric guitar with a super cool vintage sound. Features include a vibrato tailpiece, original single-coil pickups, a super comfortable and chunky neck with a large headstock and a great double-cutaway body. The pickups have a great sound; the kind of thing that’s virtually impossible to recreate identically in a newer model guitar. Both pickups together produce a very vocal-like tone! On top of all of that, the guitar is in pretty great shape for its age!
Condition: Great shape for the guitar’s age! There are various scratches, nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the guitar. There are some heavier scratches and scuffs along the edges but nothing major. The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with only light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is very comfortable with nice action and the truss rod functions perfectly. The wood bridge has a few small chips and the nut has a few tiny chips as well. Both still work perfectly however with no intonation issues whatsoever. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid, double-cutaway body in black finish. Vibrato tailpiece and a height adjustable wood bridge. Silver plastic control knobs and a single-ply white pickguard.
Neck: Chunky and super comfortable neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Large white dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Nickel 6-on-a-strip tuners with ivoroid buttons, 25.75” scale length.
