What makes this guitar special: An all original ET-220 with a cool vintage vibe. Super chunky neck with an oversized headstock & loaded with a pair of highly sought after "Ry Cooder" SS Gold Foil pickups. The pickups sound fantastic with clear, bell-like tones. The guitar has been professionally set up by with fresh strings & low action so she's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused with typical wear for a guitar its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some light finish wear. No cracks, breaks or repairs. The guitar has a great look overall with a nice patina.
Neck: Super chunky baseball bat neck with nicely aged white binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with white block inlays. Frets show some mild wear & have plenty of life in them. Large "paddle" headstock with Teisco Del Rey badge. Open-back tuners with white buttons in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is functioning.
Body: Contoured, double-cutaway solidbody finished in two-tone sunburst. Tremolo tailpiece with simple metal bridge & height-adjustable wheels. Silver metal pickguard. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 8.6 oz.
Pickups: Original Gold Foil pickups made famous by Ry Cooder. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. On/Off swtiches for each pickup. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original chipboard case included.
