Description
Description: Vintage 1960s Italian Made Eko Elite Electric Guitar
Condition: Fair condition overall. This is an exceptionally unique, vintage Eko guitar with an awesome look and vibe! It is in need of some work. There are several loose frets and one missing fret. The fingerboard is made from plastic which will make a re-fret tricky. The bridge pickup does not function though the other two are functioning perfectly. The truss rod nut is partially stripped and would have to be replaced for the truss rod to be useable. The neck currently has a slight bow and higher action. The frets would have to be fixed/replaced for the guitar to be truly playable. Note that the nut and neck have both been shimmed. All electronics and parts are original.
Body: Double-cutaway hollow body with red plastic top and cream plastic back. Nickel tailpiece, black plastic control knobs, white pickup switches and a single-ply black pickguard,
Neck: Super chunky neck with cream pearloid finish red fret markers, plastic fingerboard, white dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Vintage nickel tuners, 24.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original single coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge with individual pickup selector switches.
Weight: 5lbs, 6.3oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a truly unique one-of-a-kind vintage guitar. The design and stylings give this guitar a vibe all its own. The neck and middle pickups actually sound fine and with the proper fret work, this guitar could be converted into a player. As it is right now it would make for a great project.
Case: Does not include case.
