What makes this guitar special: 100% original & in great shape for its age with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe. The three single coil pickups sound fantastic, and with the multiple switching options, offer a wide range of dynamic tones. Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with typical light play wear for its age - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, & some mild finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Slender profile birch neck with cream side-rectangles. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Small frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. The headstock decals are very clean & in great shape with no bits missing. Made in Sweden sticker on the top of the headstock. Closed-back tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-cutaway, solid birch body finished in black. Tremolo tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge. 2-ply black pickguar & nickel hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 10.7 oz.
Electronics: Three Hagstrom single coil pickups. The controls consist of a master volume knob (which is missing its cap) and six switches: the first three (marked L M H, low/mid/high/) are on/off switches for the neck, middle and bridge pickups respectively. The following three switches: tone, mute, and top (bass boost / volume dampening / treble boost) are quite subtle in their effect - at least compared to choice of pickup. The standby switch allows the guitar to be turned on/off without adjusting any of the other controls. All electronics are in good working condition.
