Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a great playing vintage Danelectro! The brown sparkle finish looks great and this particular piece has a great transfer of vibration and sound through the neck and body. This allows it to resonate quite nicely. The neck is very comfortable and in great shape structurally so it plays great.
Condition: Various scratches and small nicks and dings throughout the guitar. Most notable is a repaired neck crack near the headstock. This crack was professionally repaired by our master luthier and is holding together perfectly showing no signs of movement whatsoever. The neck is nice and straight with very comfortable action. One pickup height adjustment screw has been replaced, otherwise all electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Masonite body with brown sparkle finish and white vinyl sides. One-piece metal tailpiece/saddle, dual plastic control knobs and an arrow shaped white pickguard.
Neck: Maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Small white dot inlays and a 1 11/16” metal nut. Three-on-a-strip nickel tuners with ivoroid buttons, 23.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original single-coil lipstick pickup in the middle position with master volume and tone controls.
