Description
What makes this guitar special: A nice player's grade LG-1 with that perfect '59 profile neck. The guitar shows lots of wear & tear along with various cracks that were professionally repaired by our own luthier. All the work done was solid & the guitar plays great now, delivering a bright, punchy tone.
Cosmetic Condition: A bit rough around the edges, but still a fun little good-time guitar - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Various repaired cracks in the body, but no loose braces. Overall the guitar has a cool, true vintage vibe with a nice patina.
Neck: Semi-chunky, one-piece mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Beautiful dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but still have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe strip tuners are in good working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & plays well up & down the fretboard.
Body: Double-bound, round shoulder with solid spruce top in sunburst finish. Rosewood bridge with pearloid dot inlays & black end pins. Large tortoise pickguard & 3-ply rosette. Solid mahogany back & sides. The end pin hole in the bottom was enlarged some time ago for a pickup, but there is currently no pickup in the guitar. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 1.8 oz.
Case: Unoriginal black chipboard case included.
