Description
A vintage 1941/42 Gibson EH-160, the rare AC/DC version of the famous "Charlie Christian" amp. Quite versatile for an amp of its era, it offers nice, thick clean tones from the instrument input and crunchy overdrive from the mic input. This model was clearly the pinnacle of its era, and it is no wonder why it remains a desireable vintage amp. This amp has been cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional* and sounds fantastic.
*This is an AC/DC amplifier, designed to work with either modern AC or the long extinct DC power of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. AC/DC amps have no true ground, resulting in above-average noise and considerable electrical shock hazard. Because of its collectibilty, we have left the amp in its original state. However, if you intend on playing this amp with regularity, it is recommended that the amp be fitted with an AC isolation transformer and a proper ground.
