Description
Cosmetic Condition: We recently acquired this gorgeous, 100% original gem from the second owner who purchased it from the original owner less than a year ago. This is a rare find indeed & is in super fine condition for a 50-year old guitar. Most of the cherry finish has faded to brown, particularly on the top of the body. There are various nicks, chips, dents & dings throughout, along with surface scratches, finish checking & light play wear. There are no cracks, breaks or repairs. The E emblem came unglued from the tailpiece, but is intact & included with the guitar. This is a highly desirable early model with nickel hardware & bound batwing headstock. The guitar has been professionally set up by us with a fresh set of .10-.46 gauge strings & low action. Overall the guitar has a fabulous look to it with a gorgeous patina. A definite must have for any serious player or collector!
