Description

What makes this guitar special: This is a super unique guitar, especially in terms of tone and aesthetics. The most immediately noticeable aspect is its Oxide Highgloss finish, which starts with an oxidized iron coating that is covered with a special lacquer that creates its striking appearance. It is perfectly complemented by a wild flamed maple neck that displays similarly fantastic figuring from the headstock to the neck pocket. It comes loaded with three single-coil-sized Haussel humbuckers that are incredibly rich and full even in the bridge position. Thanks to the push/pull tone control, the pickups can be coil-split so it sounds like the triple single-coil setup it looks like, providing a great range of sonic possibilities. The neck blend knob helps as well, giving players the ability to add or remove a bit of the neck pickup to fatten up or thin out their overall tone. In addition, it is very clean and will surely be a unique addition to most any roster.

Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It does have a few small dings and dents and light surface scratches, but is largely super clean and still looks fantastic for a used guitar. There is a small chip in the nut towards the tuning machines but does not affect playability. The frets show only light wear and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.

Body: Double cutaway rounded American red alder body in Oxide Highgloss finish. Graphtech Resomax NW-1 wraparound bridge. Knurled chrome control knobs. Schaller strap locks.

Neck: Medium depth C shape wild flamed maple neck and maple bound fingerboard with dot-in-circle inlays. Schaller M6 locking tuning machines. Finish-matching headstock.

Electronics: Haussel Custom Dual Blade humbuckers with maple covers in the neck, middle, and bridge. 1 x master volume, 1 x neck blend, 1 x push/pull coil-splitting tone control. 5-way pickup selector.

Weight: 7 lbs 11.4 oz

Playability/Sound: The Haussel pickups are beautifully voiced with big, full, and clean tone. What looks and feels like a three single-coil configuration is actually 3 humbuckers, providing each position a unique separation from the traditional counterparts. The neck is especially big and warm and includes its own blend control so it can be added to taste.

Case: Includes hardshell case.
