What makes this guitar special: This is a simple solid body electric Yamaha with a well-defined aesthetic and good tone and playability. The flame maple top and matching headstock look great under its Translucent Dark Red finish, especially with warm-tinted cream binding to complement it throughout. The neck pickup is warm and full with a good amount of top end clarity while the bridge has lots of chime and crisp response. The neck is a comfortable and familiar C shape and should be an easy transition for most players. Plus, overall, this guitar is still in great shape for a used instrument and comes with a semi-hardshell case to boot.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It does show various nicks, dings, dents, scuffs, chips, and scratches, but is still in great shape for a used guitar. The frets show only very light wear and still have a on of playing time left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod is functioning.
Body: Double cutaway contoured mahogany body with a bound flame maple top in Translucent Dark Red finish. Chrome Yamaha original AES adjustable bridge and through-body parallel tailpiece. Recessed chrome knurled dome control knobs.
Neck: Medium depth C shape mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with tribal inlay. Sealed chrome tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.5” scale length.
Electronics: Yamaha humbucking pickups in the neck and bridge. 1 x master volume, 1 x master tone. 3-way pickup selector.

Playability/Sound: The C shape neck is familiar and easy to move around. The neck humbucker is warm and full with a good amount of top end clarity. The bridge still has body but with a bit more chime and articulation.
