The Yamaha FGX-04 Limited Edition is constructed of woods you'd expect to find only in much more expensive guitars. A broad expanse of solid Engelmann spruce belts out loud and subtle tone faithfully rendered into the electronic realm by a System 46 preamp and piezo system. Sublime cosmetics include cream body and fingerboard binding, abalone soundhole inlay, mother-of-pearl headstock logo, and chrome tuners. Rosewood back and sides for luxurious looks and great projection. Rosewood fretboard. Pro set up included.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape overall with a few minor nicks & dings; mild surface scratches. The plastic wrap is still over the pickguard.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Chrome diecast tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 5/8" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound dreadnought with cutaway. Solid Engelmann spruce top with rosewood bridge. Tortoise pickguard & abalone rosette. Rosewood back & sides. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 6.4 oz.
Electronics: System 46 preamp with Piezo pickup.
Case: SKB hardshell case included.
