What makes this guitar special: Even just looking at the front, you can tell this guitar is well-built with attention to detail at every turn. It features gorgeous flame maple throughout including its binding and carved top, all under a vibrant teal finish on the front, and rich aqua on the back. The fingerboard shows incredible figuring as well and is complete with a combination of Mother of Pearl and abalone inlays in both position markers and the lines that run from the nut to the body. The wood-covered Haussel pickups have fantastic pure tone in each position, yet include quite a bit of character, especially in combinations like the 2nd and 4th positions. Deluxe appointments are apparent throughout, including gold hardware, a bone nut, and the unique knobs that help give this guitar a distinct identity that very few others possess.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It does posses various light surface scratches throughout the neck and body, as well as a few small dings and scuffs, but otherwise is in fantastic shape and still looks awesome. There is also a small chip near the bass horn strap button. The frets show only light wear and still have a ton of life left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should. Does not include full strap lock assembly, but Dunlop brand strap locks work as well.
Body: Double cutaway solid body of flame maple with scraped binding, teal top and blue back. Gold tune-o-matic bridge and strings through body setup. Wooden pickup covers. Unique splatter-looking barrel knobs. “NAMM” written in the neck pickup pocket. Electronics plate is signed by Jay D. Lewis.
Neck: Medium round D shape neck and birdseye maple fingerboard with split block inlays of Mother of Pearl outside and abalone triangle center. Abalone inlays run the length of the neck. Abalone Warrior headstock inlay and scraped flame maple binding. Gold sealed tuning machines.
Electronics: Haussel wood-cover single-coil pickups. 1 x volume, 1 x tone control. 5-way pickup selector.

Playability/Sound: The neck on this guitar is very comfortable to move around and the D shape profile makes for easy chording and riffing alike. The pickups sound incredible – very clean and pure with a bit of extra character when in the 2nd and 4th positions with a good range in between.
