What makes this guitar special: This is a superb playing and sounding 5 string bass from the Warrior Instruments Custom Shop. While not as flashy as some of their other guitars and basses, the quality materials and craftsmanship are still abundantly present, resulting in a bass that is certainly deserving of the Warrior name. The neck-through body construction offers superior sustain and sound transference, and when paired with the Bartolini active pickups and onboard preamp, the sonic possibilities are nearly infinite. The strong low end, punchy midrange, and smooth high end are able to be sculpted to fit any playing style and genre. Plus, it features a professional setup from our in-house technician, so all you need to do it take it out of its original hard shell case and tune it.
Condition: The bass is in excellent condition overall. It does display some very light surface scratches and a few incredibly minor dings and dents, but is exceptionally clean and well cared for considering it is a used instrument. The frets show some minor play wear, but are still in excellent shape with tons of life left. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions perfectly.
Body: Mahogany and Purpleheart neck-through body construction with mahogany wings in the double cutaway, contoured Dran Michael body shape. DM Design “Anointed Oil” natural finish. Black partial string-through bridge with adjustable brass saddles. Recessed into the body straplock system. Laser-cut Warrior logo control cavity cover.
Neck: Multi-laminate D shape mahogany and purpleheart neck with spoke wheel truss rod (.86” at the 1st fret, .88” at the 12th fret). 24 fret purpleheart fingerboard with an abalone sword inlay at the 12th fret, and white side dots. Ebony headstock laminate with inlaid abalone Warrior logo. Gold Warrior branded sealed gear tuning machines with black metal buttons. 1 7/8” bone nut. 34” scale length.
Electronics: Bartolini active Fat Boy and Jazz pickups. Master volume control, pickup blend, stacked bass and treble EQ control, mid-gain control with a 3-position 250/500/800k tone toggle switch, and a Neutrik locking output jack.

Playability/Sound: The D shaped neck is very comfortable to hold and fits nicely in the hand, considering the extra with needed for a 5 string model. The oil rubbed finish feels fantastic and plays very quickly and smoothly. The Bartolini pickups sound great with a strong low end presence, punchy midrange, and smooth high end. Plus, the active EQ system allows for nearly infinite tone-shaping possibilities.
