Ready to take care of all the low end, the JV5 is a powerful 5 string addition to the Vola Bass guitar lineup. Featuring an Alder body, hard maple Modern C shaped neck, 21 frets, and Gotoh Hardware. Prepare to serve up some low frequencies!
Cosmetic Condition: This bass is in fantastic shape. There is some slight 'buckle-rash' on the back of the body. But other than that - no major cosmetic or functional issues whatsoever. It has various little nicks, dings, scratches, etc., associated with typical playwear.
Neck: This bass is fitted with a hard maple neck and fingerboard with black dot position inlays. The neck is straight, and the truss rod works perfectly.
Body: This bass features an alder body and a 3-ply W/B/W pickguard. This bass weighs a delightful 9 lb. 14.5 oz.
Electronics:
Pickups: Both of the stock Vola pickups have been replaced with Bartolini 5-string Soapbar pickups. The original output jack has been replaced with a 2nd tone control. The output jack has been relocated to the bottom/side of the bass.
