Back in the '60s Lo Duca Brothers of Milwaukee imported accordions & EKO guitars from Italy & many EKO's in this area have the Lo Duca label inside them, as does this gorgeous flat top. It's in great shape for its age & with its chunky neck & low action, it plays & sounds marvelous.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall & only gently used, with some mild surface scratches. There's a tiny bit of finish chipping along the edges of the headstock overlay, but it is firmly attached to the headstock.
Neck: Chunky mahogany neck with beautiful rosewood fingerboard & white dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Open-gear tuners work perfectly. 1 3/4" nut width with zero fret; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & plays well up & down the fretboard.
Body: Double-bound, square should dreadnought. Spruce top with 5-ply binding.
Trapeze tailpiece with rosewood bridge & adjustable aluminum saddle. Black pickguard with gold & white floral motif. Bound soundhole with black stenciled rosette. Mahogany back & sides with single-ply binding. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 6 lbs 4.5 oz.
Case: Vintage black chipboard case with gold interior included.
