What’s special about this bass: This is an exceptionally well-made bass with a super comfortable neck, phenomenal sounding Bartolini pickups and two-piece maple body. The maple body produces a nice, crisp attack with plenty of sustain and the wood grain looks quite nice as well. The neck shape on this piece is simply perfect and really makes playability with the 5-string design easy. The active electronics allow the player to dial in virtually any sound and offer a mini toggle switch to bypass the three-band EQ. Ultimately this bass offers fantastic playability and easy to dial in tone in an instrument that exemplifies some fine craftsmanship.
Condition: Very good shape overall! There are various surface scratches, nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the bass with some buckle rash on the back. The heaviest wear is located on the back. The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with only light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action and the dual truss rods function perfectly. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured two-piece maple body in natural finish. Top-load tailpiece with five individually adjustable saddles. Plastic control knobs and a black back cover plate.
Neck: Very nicely rounded and super comfortable 5-piece bolt-on neck with a Pau Ferro fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Grover tuners, 34” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Bartolini pickups in the middle and bridge with master volume control, pickup blend control, 3-band cut/boost EQ and a two way mini toggle switch to bypass the EQ.
