Description
This one-of-a-kind Jazzmaster combines a Mexican-made Fender neck with a Warmoth body for a truly custom instrument. Outfitted with ESP Designed humbuckers and a built-in theremin, it's finished in a satin dark brown stain and features two unique handprint accents on the back. If you're after something completely different- combining rock-ready humbucker tone with experimental theremin sounds- this guitar has you covered.
The Theremin is activated by a toggle switch. To use the theremin, you pull out the built-in antenna on the lower horn of the guitar and use the position of your hand (the closer your hand gets to the antenna, the higher the pitch) and the pitch knob to change the pitch. The relative starting pitch can also be adjusted by the length of the antenna on the guitar. Traditionally, there would be a second antenna to act as a volume control, but the volume is controlled by the other knob by the toggle switch, so it is still very much a two-hand operation. Perfect for your cover of "Good Vibrations" or "Velouria!"
