Description
What makes this guitar special: A piece built with the player in mind, with great appointments and terrific tone at an affordable price. This piece has great sound courtesy of the dual Joe Borden pickups and fantastic resonance thanks to the chambered body and Joe Borden bridge with triple barrel saddles. The body is a who-knows-what thinline Tele style body finished in a pleasing Shoreline Gold, and the neck is a solid maple Warmoth, with some subtle nicely woven birdseye throughout. As with all our guitars, this one comes professionally setup by our in-house luthier, ready to rock right out of the box.
Cosmetic condition: Pretty good shape for its age, with standard playwear throughout. Various scratches, nicks, dings, chips, dents, scuffs, and a couple areas of light finish checking, as well as some mild oxidation on the hardware. There are a couple small areas on the back of the neck where the clear coat has worn down (primarily behind the first 5-6 frets) , but this only makes movement easier and isn’t very unsightly.
Body: Solid chambered body with single f hole in shoreline gold finish with 3-ply white pickguard. String-through Joe Borden bridge with 3 brass barrel saddles.
Weight: 7 lb, 9.1 oz
Neck: Slim tapered D shaped maple neck with black side dots and black dot inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Maple fingerboard is in great shape, and while frets show some light wear, they still have a great deal of life left in them. Side mounted micro-tilt makes adjustments quick and easy. Chrome sealed vintage style Tuners function perfectly. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.
Electronics: Dual Joe Borden pickups (Neck-4.11K ohms, Bridge-6.32K ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and knurled chrome knobs, 1x volume, 1x tone.
Case: Gig bag included.
