What makes this guitar special: A lovely Grand Auditorium with a bright, shimmering tone. The 30th Anniversary features include oak leaf rosette & fingerboard inlays. The flame maple back & sides look absolutely stunning & add to its overall gorgeous character. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds wonderful.
Cosmetic Condition: Various minor nicks, dents & dings; surface scratches.
Neck: Soft V-shaped maple neck with white binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with abalone & wood oak leaf inlays. Frets are in great shape with only a tiny bit of wear & tons of life in them. Bound headstock with 30th Anniversary logo. Gold Taylor tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Venetian cutaway, Grand Auditorium body in natural finish. Solid spruce top with 6-ply binding. Ebony bridge & end pins with compensated saddle. Abalone oak leaf cluster rosette. Solid flame maple back & sides with 3-piece back. Guitar weighs 5 1/2 lbs.
Electronics: The original Expression System was disconnected (although it's still present inside the guitar) & a Fishman Rare Earth soundhole pickup combined with a Fishman Matrix under-saddle pickup were added. An additional 1/4" input jack was added to the bottom of the guitar just above the factory input. Obviously the previous owner just preferred the Fishman over the Expression System.
