Description

Takamine's P5DC is a dreadnought cutaway acoustic-electric with a bold, lively tone, a warm aesthetic, and stellar in-hand feel. It is a Pro Series guitar built with the performing musician in mind. This is exemplified through the P5DC's proprietary CTP-3 CoolTube electronics, giving warm, natural-sounding tone that is easily contoured through the onboard 3-band EQ. Other player-friendly features include a Venetian cutaway, an asymmetrical neck profile that is slightly thinner on the bass side, and a split bone saddle for accurate intonation. Plus, the P5DC has a big, bold sound thanks to a solid spruce top and solid rosewood back/sides, while abalone inlays, a Whiskey Brown finish, gold tuners, and ivory body binding give it an elegant look. The P5DC by Takamine is more than worthy of its Pro Series name, in looks, sound, and playability.
