Description
The GB7C Garth Brooks signature model was designed as a collaboration between Takamine R&D and country legend Garth Brooks. This model matches a solid cedar top, finished in a silky smooth natural satin finish, to a solid rosewood back and features a unique soundhole that mirrors the shape of the guitar. Sonically, the guitar performs well in soft fingerstyle passages and aggressive strumming. The mahogany neck is joined to the body with a traditional, ultra strong dovetail joint. Professionally set up & ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & heavy strumming wear in the top near the soundhole.
Neck: Mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard & white side-dots. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Gotoh tuners with copper pearloid buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound, dreadnought body with cutaway in natural satin finish. Solid cedar top with rosewood bridge & split saddle. The soundhole is shaped like the guitar itself with a 5-ply rosette. Rosewood sides with solid rosewood back. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 1.4 oz.
Electronics: Takamine AD-1 premap.
Case: Unoriginal, Martin hardshell case included. A little beat up, but serves its purpose well.
