What’s special about this guitar: This is a great sounding, highly responsive acoustic guitar with fantastic playability. This acoustic features a slim FXC body which produces a sound with plenty of volume and snap. Combined with the spruce top and mahogany back and sides the body shape and size results in a great midrange and high end presence. The neck shape is very comfortable and adds to the instrument’s overall comfortable playability.
Condition: Great shape overall! There are various minor surface scratches throughout the guitar and some very faint buckle rash on the back. Overall it is very clean! The fingerboard and frets are in excellent shape with hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound, slim FXC body with a spruce top and mahogany back and sides in black finish. Rosewood bridge with a compensated ivoroid saddle and a gorgeous abalone rosette.
Neck: Nicely rounded and very comfortable neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Abalone dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Sealed Takamine tuners, 25” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Active Takamine preamp with controls for gain, tuner, mid contour, bass, middle, treble, notch filter, in-out and EQ bypass.
