Description
Squier's most versatile Jaguar bass model is even more versatile now, with the extended range of the Vintage Modified Jaguar Bass V Special five-string model. You get all the sharp looks, fantastic tone and great features of its four-string brother, now with the addition of an earth-shaking low B string.
Cosmetic Condition: This bass has a great road-worn patina. The headstock, neck, and fretboard are in fantastic shape. All of the electronics and hardware are in great shape - and are fully functional. There is some slight surface scratching on the front and back of the body. There is a decent sized finish repair on the upper bout, bass side, near where the arm/wrist would sit while playing. There is also a very small nick out of the very bottom of the fretboard near the low B. It has various little nicks, dings, scratches, etc., associated with typical playwear.
Neck: This bass is fitted with a maple neck in a satin urethane finish, and a rosewood fingerboard with white dot position inlays. The neck is straight, and the truss rod works perfectly.
Body: This bass features a basswood body in a gloss polyurethane finish and a 3-ply black pickguard. This bass weighs 9 lbs. 12.3 oz.
