Description
A gorgeous Korean-made Squier from the late '90s, this Pro Tone Thinline Telecaster is a powerful axe with an elegant look. Built with a semi-hollow ash body, sweet-sounding alnico pickups, and a transparent cherry finish, this guitar is perfect for players looking to add a unique, well-crafted semi-hollow to their collection.
Cosmetic Condition: This guitar is in very good condition for being 2+ decades old. There's some light scratching on the finish from regular play and the upper strap button was relocated at some point, but the neck feels great and the hardware is surprisingly clean.
Neck: Bolt-on maple neck with 21 fret maple fingerboard, black dot inlays, and gold tuners. The neck has some beautiful flaming on the bass side, and it sports a custom-made neck plate. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the frets have minimal wear. 1 11/16" nut width; 25.5" scale length. Neck measures 0.82" thick at the 1st fret and 0.88" thick at the 12th.
Body: Semi-hollow ash body with cream binding and a translucent cherry red finish. It sports a gold string-through-body bridge, an off-white pearloid pickguard, and gold control knobs. Weighs 7 lbs. 6.8 oz.
Electronics: Alnico single-coil pickups, a 3-way pickup selector, a master volume control, and a master tone control give this guitar plenty of sonic versatility. Flip on the bridge pickup for a hotter, brighter sound, or engage the neck pickup for warmth and sweetness. All electronics work great.
