Description
Santa Cruz's Tony Rice Signature Model is the result of more than 30 years of collaboration between the Santa Cruz's founding luthier and the guitarist himself. As Tony's playing evolved, so did his Signature Model, and it is now one of the most refined, well-crafted dreadnoughts ever made. With a body made of master grade Indian Rosewood with a Sitka Spruce top, you get crisp, clear highs and plenty of midrange punch, making the Tony Rice Signature Model especially great for fast leads due to its overall note clarity. It has plenty of low-end boom as well, but not to the point where it drowns out mids and highs – the tone on the TR model is remarkably well-balanced through and through. If you’re a flatpicker and you’re looking for the best dreadnought you can find, look no further than Santa Cruz’s Tony Rice Signature Model – it’s a wonderful creation and has a full, bold sound that will demand the attention of any guitarist lucky enough to play it.
