Chris Scruggs is currently the bass guitarist in Marty Stuart's Fabulous Superlatives band & this gorgeous Old Friend Bass is based on his personal specs. Featuring an exceptionally resonant ash body finished in Silver Sparkle & sporting a Lindy Fralin Humcanceling 51 P for exquisite tone. Professionally set up & ready for action straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Under The Bed. Intentionally "aged" at the factory to give it that gently used look - various minor nicks & dings & mild weather checking.
Neck: CS Soft V shape maple neck with 10" radius maple fingerboard & black dot inlays. 6105 frets are in great shape with no wear. Hipshot Ultralite tuners work perfectly. 1 5/8" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body finished in Silver Sparkle. RS Custom string-thru bridge with two brass "barrel" saddles & bridge cover included. Single-ply white pickguard with black finger-rest. Nickel hardware & bass weighs 8 lbs 5.3 oz.
Electronics: Lindy Fralin Humcanceling 51 P single coil with original cover included. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. RS Superpot, CTS Audio Tone, Switchcraft jack & RS Guitarcap. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
