Description
What makes this guitar special: Produced for about a decade between '96 & '05, this cool Ric semi-hollow features an oil finished walnut body with maple neck & fingerboard. All of the original gold hardware has been swapped out for chrome, including the jackplate with a serial number that actually dates to Sept of '91. The original pickups were replaced with Lollar Broilers, which sound amazing! The guitar has been professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays great too!
Cosmetic Condition: Used but not abused, with typical light play wear - various minor nicks, dents & dings; surface scratches & some mild finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it & is in perfect playing condition.
Neck: Wide, flat profile maple neck with nicely aged ivoroid binding & black side-dots. Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. The original black truss rod cover was replaced with a white one. Chrome Schaller tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rods function fine.
Body: Semi-hollow walnut body with bound slash hole, bound back & checkerboard purfling. Top-loading bridge with six adjustable roller saddles. This one does not have the Piezo bridge. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 14.7 oz.
Pickups: Lollar Broilers. Bridge - 8.47K ohms; Neck - 7.94K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with boost blend; 3-way toggle switch & mono output. All electronics are in good working condition.
