Description
What makes this guitar special: Built by local luthier Rick Land, this ultra cool S-Style is a throw-back to the guitars players used to mod in the 70's. This fabulous example features a semi-chunky maple neck with oversized headstock fitted to a light weight ash body & loaded with a pair of dynamite sounding humbuckers. The whole guitar was given a "Relic" treatment so it resembles your go-to guitar & a trusted old friend. Professionally set up & ready for action upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Intentionally "aged" to give it that well-worn "vintage" look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear.
Neck: Nicely rounded, semi-chunky maple neck with stained maple fingerboard & black dot inlays. Jumbo frets are in great shape & show only a tiny bit of wear. Oversized headstock with bullet truss rod & double string trees. Locking tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in natural finish. Wilkinson tremolo bridge with vintage-style Fender saddles & 3-ply black pickguard. There is no trem cover or trem arm. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 12.2 oz.
Electronics: Dual humbuckers exposed coils. Bridge - 7.97K ohms; Neck - 7.62K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with 3-way selector switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: There is no case.
