What’s special about this guitar: This is an older model Parker Fly Classic in good overall shape! This guitar is exceptionally light-weight, plays like a dream and sound phenomenal. The electronics have been modified with the piezo electronics removed and more controls for the humbuckers added. The guitar can now offer parallel, series and split settings on each pickup and phase reversal can be selected with both pickups engaged. This actually adds a significant amount of tonal versatility to the guitar and brings out the full potential of the diMarzio pickups! Other features include a body mounted tension wheel for the bridge, super comfortable carbon/glass fiber fingerboard and an awesome translucent blue finish!
Condition: Very good shape overall! There are various surface scratches, small nicks, dings and chips throughout the instrument with some heavier pick scratches on the top. There are two hairline cracks along the back of the bridge. These are holding together fine, show no movement and do not affect playability or sound. The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with only light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action up and down the fingerboard and the truss rod functions perfectly. The electronics have been modified to add a parallel/series/split mini toggle for each pickup and a phase reversal switch for both pickups. Two unoriginal capacitors were also added. The piezo system has been removed. As they currently are, the electronics function perfectly.
Body: Solid mahogany body in trans blue finish with a metallic blue back. Bridge tension wheel on the body, vibrato bridge with trem arm, plastic control knobs with mini toggle switches and a black back cover plate.
Neck: Basswood neck with a carbon/glass fiber fingerboard. White fret markers and a 1 11/16” nut. Locking Sperzel tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: DiMarzio humbuckers in the neck and bridge. Dual volume and tone controls, dual 3-way parallel/series/split mini toggle switches for each pickup and a phase reversal mini toggle switch.
Neck: 12.37K Ohms.
Bridge: 16.33K Ohms.
