The Martin XC1T Ellipse has a durable, high-pressure laminate body design, which delivers robust guitar tone. The solid Sitka spruce top & tawny satinwood back & sides contribute to the tone while producing a unique look. Made of rosewood, maple & koa, the wooden rosette adds an elegant touch to the top. The low-profile oval-shaped neck with soft cutaway is incredibly easy to play. A Fishman Ellipse Blend system combines signals from an internally mounted microphone with an undersaddle transducer. Discrete controls (volume, mic/pickup blend, phase) are mounted inside the soundhole for easy access. Professionally set up & ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition - very clean & still like new with only some mild surface scratches on the pickguard.
Neck: Natural Stratabond neck with modified low oval profile. Solid striped ebony fingerboard with abalone side-dots. Frets are in great shape with almost no wear. Gotoh cosmo black tuners work perfectly. 1 11/16" nut width; 25.4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid Sitka spruce top with solid striped ebony bridge & compensated saddle. Black end pins with abalone dot inlays. Tortoise pickguard & East Indian rosewood, maple & koa pattern rosette. Tawny satinwood HPL textured finish back & sides. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 10.4 oz.
