Paired with Martin's most comfortable neck, vintage appointments, scalloped & forward-shifted bracing. Powerful bottom end, rich tone & strums that will fill any room. A silky smooth player with a warm, rich tone & a big, boomy voice that projects exceptionally well. This gorgeous HD-28 has been professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition - very clean with only some mild surface scratches & just a tiny bit of finish ripple in front of the bridge.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Grover open-gear Butterbean tuners. 1 11/16" nut width ; 25.4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound dreadnought body with herringbone purfling. Solid spruce top with ebony bridge & compensated saddle White bridge pins with red dot inlays. Tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides with zig zag center strip. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 8.5 oz.
