This slope-shoulder dreadnought has a solid spruce top and mahogany back & sides, finished in what Martin calls a satin Whiskey Sunset. This used guitar is in mint condition. If you want a classic Martin slope-shoulder feel with straightforward styling, this DSS-17 is a strong choice. Professionally set up with fresh strings and low action, it's ready to play right out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition:
Mint overall with no signs of wear. It looks and feels like a new guitar without the new-guitar price.
Neck:
Modified Low Oval neck shape with a High-Performance Taper. Scale length is 25.4", and the fretboard is 1 3/4" at the nut. Frets have no wear, and the neck is straight with a properly functioning truss rod.
Body:
D-14 fret slope-shoulder design with a satin finish. Antique white binding, tortoise pattern pickguard, and scalloped X-bracing.
