Description
A bit of a beater D-28 that still manages to kick out a powerful, punchy tone despite its less than stellar appearance. The neck was amateurly reset & there are a couple of small cracks in the top near the neck/soundhole area. The finish on the back of the neck was stripped off & there are some finish touch ups. Priced accordingly & still a great knock-around travel guitar if you don't feel like taking your more expensive Martin out of the house.
Cosmetic Condition: A bit rough & could use a good luthier's touch - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. As previously mentioned the neck was reset & there are a couple of top cracks between the neck & soundhole. The lower bout, bass side looks like it sustained some damage as evidenced by the finish wear & touch up on the side. Most of the finish on the back of the neck was removed as well. Overall the guitar has that "kicked around" look to it which some players don't mind.

Body: Solid spruce top with 6-ply binding. Certain sections of the binding were reglued. Ebony bridge with tortoise pickguard & multi-layer rosette. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides with geometric center strip. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 1.3 oz.
Electronics: After-market, under-saddle active pickup in good working condition.
