Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a beautifully made, gorgeous sounding Martin D-18 V featuring a modified “V’ profile neck which is exceptionally comfortable. Other features include a solid Sitka Spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides, 14-fret dreadnought body and a nice Ebony fingerboard. The body shape and size combined with the woods used creates just a beautiful sound that is full and warm with plenty of top end.
Condition: Good shape overall! There are two large areas in which the finish has worn down to the sanding sealer. The areas are on the treble side of the body at the waist and the lower bass side bout on top. There are also some pick scratches and very light weather checking throughout the finish along with some minor surface scratches and small nicks, dings and dents. The fingerboard and frets are in excellent shape with only light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound dreadnought body with solid Sitka Spruce top and mahogany back and sides in natural finish. Ebony bridge with an ivoroid saddle, tortoise pickguard and a multi-ring rosette.
Neck: Modified “V’ shaped mahogany neck with an Ebony fingerboard. Abalone dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Martin open-gear tuners, 25.4” scale length.
Weight: 4lbs, 1.0oz.
Case: Includes a hardshell case.
