Description
One of Martin's most popular dreadnought models, the D-18 offers spartan features with king-sized tone - a warm, rich voice with powerful sound projection & excellent dynamics. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Pretty good shape for the most part with some mild surface scratches along with a few tiny nicks & dings. The top center seam had separated a bit so we glued & cleated it. A small crack in the bass-side of the body, lower bout was also glued.
Neck: Soft V-shaped mahogany neck with white side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with abalone dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Grover open-gear tuners with Butterbean buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 25.4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound dreadnought body in natural finish. Solid spruce top with ebony bridge & compensated saddle. Tortoise pickguard with multi-ring rosette. Solid mahogany back & sides with single black center strip. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 1.9 oz.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
