The Martin D-12E is a Road Series acoustic that provides players with a solid-wood dreadnought at an affordable price. Its D-14 Fret body, Sitka Spruce top, and Sapele back/sides give it a well-balanced, lively tone that you'd expect in a guitar twice its price. The D-12E also has a Style 28 rosette, Style 18 purfling, black pickguard, and Mother of Pearl dot inlays to give it an authentic Martin look to match its tone. And thanks to a hand-rubbed neck finish, FSC Certified Richlite fingerboard, and High-Performance Taper neck, you get top-notch playability and in-hand feel. Plus, it comes with a premium soft shell case to keep it safe and sound, no matter where you're headed.
Cosmetic Condition: There were several back cracks that needed to be glued & cleated, otherwise really nice shape overall.
Neck: Select Hardwood neck with FSC Certified Richlite fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Grover open-gear Butterbean tuners. 1 3/4" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound in natural high-gloss finish. Solid Sitka Spruce top with black pickguard & multi-ring rosette. FSC Certified Richlite bridge with compensated saddle. Sapele back & sides. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 14.6 oz.
Electronics: Fishman MX-T electronics with built-in soundhole tuner.
