Cosmetic Condition: This bass is in good condition for its age. There are nicks and dings across the body, most notably by the bridge and the end of the fingerboard, but it's in otherwise great shape. The original pickguard was removed, but a replacement pickguard is included in the case.
Neck: Mahogany neck with 22 fret ebony fingerboard and white side dots. Frets are in great shape with minimal wear, the neck is straight, the truss rod works, and the tuners turn without resistance. The neck is 1.5" wide at the nut, 0.85" thick at the 1st fret, and 0.95" thick at the 12th fret. 34" scale length.
Body: Indian rosewood body with a cream binding and a solid spruce top. The tonewood combination gives this bass a rich voice with deep lows and articulate highs, and the use of solid woods gives it ample volume and an enhanced tone. Weight - 5 lbs. 6.8 oz.
Electronics: Features a passive pickup for amplified performance. Also ships with a Martin Porta-Con acoustic pre-amp for further tone-shaping.
