The 000-28 Modern Deluxe is packed with vintage appointments, custom features, and modern technology. A Sitka spruce VINTAGE TONE SYSTEM (VTS) top, dovetail neck joint, and natural protein glue construction deliver the rich, fully-aged Martin tone that has inspired generations. European flamed maple binding, stylish gold frets, gold open-gear tuners, and a unique 1930s-style script logo inlaid in pearl on the headstock give it a look to match its sound. Ultra-modern features like Liquidmetal bridge pins with red dots and a composite carbon fiber bridgeplate, boost volume, making this a guitar players dream.
Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition - very clean & like new with only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: Soft V-shaped mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard. Abalone diamond inlays & side-dots. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Rosewood headstock overlay with gold Waverly Butterbean tuners. 1 3/4" width bone nut; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound 000-size body in natural finish. Solid Sitka spruce top with Herringbone purfling. Ebony bridge with compensated bone saddle. Tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides with zig zag center strip. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 0.2 oz.
Case: Original deluxe hardshell case included along with all the original paperwork & hang tags.
