What makes this guitar special? Although this Parker Nitefly has a few battle wounds here and there, it still sounds and plays fantastic top to bottom. The Black Pearl finish has subtle depth that glistens perfectly upon closer inspection. The magnetic pickups, in combination with the Fishman piezo transducer in the bridge, sound great individually and give players tons of tonal options between the two, let alone together with a little dialing in. The slim-medium neck profile is extremely easy to move around and plays well with most styles all the way up and down the neck. If you can deal with some aesthetic flaws, you’re sure to get a fantastic sounding and playing guitar for a great deal.
Condition: This guitar is in fair condition overall. Everything functions as it should and it still plays great, but it does have some larger bits of damage such as decent-sized chips, dings, and scratches throughout the body and neck. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should. The frets show almost no wear and still have a lifetime left in them.
Body: Offset double cutaway solid maple body in Black Pearl finish. 3-ply black pickguard. Parker vibrato bridge with Fishman piezo transducer pickup.
Neck: Bolt-on basswood neck with carbon/glass/epoxy composite reinforcement layer and composite fingerboard. Slim-medium profile. 1-5/8” nut width. Satin Sperzel locking tuning machines.
Electronics: DiMarzio single coil in the neck and bridge, DiMarzio humbucker in the bridge. Fishman piezo transducer in the bridge. 5-way selector switch (for magnetic pickups), 3-way piezo/magnetic switch, volume 1 knob, tone 1 knob, piezo volume knob.

Playability/Sound: This Parker Nitefly sounds absolutely fantastic on a lot of levels. The magnetic pickups have great tone neck to bridge individually and when paired up, especially considering the addition of simple tone and volume controls. The Fishman piezo pickup sounds just as good, and a little dialing in can create a gorgeous blend of acoustic and electric tones. The slim-medium neck is comfortable nut to cutaway and aptly suits just about every style of play.
