The Skyline Series Darryl Jones Signature Model DJ-5 features the same updated classic tone as the DJ-4, but is combined with the legendary Lakland 35" scale length - the reason all Lakland 5s have such fabulous bottom end, offering clarity, tautness and tone in regards to the low B. Graphite reinforcement bars are added for tonal stability and the dual vintage voiced single coil Lakland pickups are hand fabricated and wound with exact tolerances in their Chicago shop. Looks, ergonomics, playability, and that big bottom tone make this one of Lakland's most popular and longstanding models. Pro set up included.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition - very clean with only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: Flat-sawn maple neck with graphite reinforcement bars. 12" radius maple fingerboard with black block inlays & black side-dots. 21 frets in great shape with no wear. Hipshot Ultralite tuners work great. 1.81" nut width; 35" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in natural finish. Lakland Dual Access bridge (through body or through bridge) with 5 adjustable "barrel" saddles. 3-ply black pickguard. Bass weighs 10.25 lbs.
Electronics: Lakland Vintage J single coil pickups with dual volume & master tone controls. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
