Description
What makes this guitar special: If you’re looking for a simple guitar with a unique setup and a Floyd Rose bridge to boot, look no further. Everything is just about as it seems in terms of the controls, which are basically a single master volume and an on/off switch for each pickup. This allows for a few more combinations outside of the standard 5-way switch. This configuration has not compensated for partial phase cancellation, so certain combinations of pickups produce unique responses with slightly scooped and boosted aspects of the dynamic range because of it, giving each one that much more character when combination. They are pretty solid to begin with when they stand alone as well, with a warmer, fuller neck response, smooth middle with medium body and a little extra mid-range quack, and the bridge is bright, hot, and crisp with some bite. Plus, the body is pretty clean, the neck plays easy, and it comes with its original hardshell case.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It only shows minor dings, dents, scuffs, and light scratches throughout, but is otherwise in great shape. The frets show very little wear and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight.
Body: Double cutaway contoured body in Black finish. Floyd Rose bridge. Black speed knob. Nickel mini-toggle switches.
Neck: Slim to medium depth C shape maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Sealed chrome tuning machines. 1 5/8” locking nut. 25.5” scale length.
Electronics: Slanted humbucker in the bridge and a single-coil in the middle and neck. 1 x master volume. 3 x on/off mini-toggle pickup switches.
Weight: 8 lbs 0.1 oz
Playability/Sound: The neck on this guitar has a pretty common C shape and should be an easy transition for most players. The pickups are solid, with a fuller, more rounded tone in the neck, body with a little mid-range quack in the middle, and bright and crisp bridge with some bite.
Case: Includes original hardshell case.
