What’s special about this guitar: This is a fast and sleek playing Ibanez RG550 with powerful pickups! The neck on this one is designed for fast, smooth and articulate playing and it definitely delivers. The HSH pickup configuration provides plenty of tonal versatility while the fine-tune bridge and locking nut ensure perfect intonation. To top it all off it has green pickup covers on a black body for a look that can only stand out.
Condition: Very good shape overall. There are various minor surface scratches, nicks and dings throughout the guitar. Most notable are several dings/chips that have been touched-up by hand with black paint. The fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear but still have plenty of life left in them. The neck is very comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. The middle pickup has a high ohm reading and sounds somewhat thin, otherwise all electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured body in black finish. Floyd Rose bridge and trem arm. Neon green control knobs and pickup covers and a 3-ply black pickguard.
Neck: Slender and super comfortable maple neck and maple fingerboard. Black dot inlays and a 1 11/16” locking nut. Gotoh tuners, 25.5” scale length. Truss rod cover is missing.
Pickups/Electronics: DiMarzio humbucker in the neck and bridge and a single-coil in the middle. Master volume and tone controls and a 5-way selector switch.
Neck: 12.33K Ohms.
Middle: 17.16K Ohms.
