Description
What makes this guitar special? This is a very uniquely shaped bass with good sounding pickups, even better controls, and an overall look that’s hard to match. The neck’s slim profile and small overall size makes it extremely easy to move around, especially with the addition of a flat finish. It has a slick look and good tonal range that will suit a variety of players.
Condition: This EDA 900F Bass is in very good condition overall. There are some light surface scratches throughout the body and neck, one longer scratch on the longer/upper arm, as well as some small dings, but otherwise is largely in great shape. The neck is straight, the truss rod works as it should, and the fingerboard shows only light-mild wear.
Body: Contoured Luthite body in Silver Flat finish. Mono-Rail II bridge with Fishman Piezo saddle pickups. Gun metal colored jack plate, 2 black knobs, 2 silver knobs.
Neck: 3-piece EDA4 maple neck with slim profile. Ebonol fingerboard with cream side dots. Sealed gun metal colored tuning machines. 1 ½” nut width.
Electronics: Ibanez Dynamix Full Range passive pickup and Fishman Piezo saddle pickups w/ EQA-PZ EQ. 1 magnetic pickup volume, 1 piezo volume (both black), 1 magnetic pickup EQ, 1 piezo treble boost/cut (both silver) and individual piezo trim pots on the back.
Weight: 7 lbs 10.6 oz
Playability/Sound: Between the Dynamix pickup and the piezos, this bass has a good amount of tonal range. The neck is small, slim and easy to move around, especially with a nice flat finish. Pickups sound good and great for everything from up front mid-range pop to warm and smooth jazz.
Case: No case included.
