A remarkable sounding German-made archtop featuring a solid, carved spruce top & floating neck humbucker that sounds amazing, delivering warm, rich tones. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Aside from some mild surface scratches, the guitar is in great shape & quite clean actually.
Neck: Ivoroid-bound maple neck with black side-dots. Neck joins the body at the 16th fret. 24-fret ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Bound headstock with ebony overlay. Mother of pearl "Hofner" headstock logo & floral inlays. Gold Schaller tuners with ebony buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Single cutaway, carved German spruce top with 6-ply binding. Bound cat-eye F-holes with foam "dampening" inserts included. Maple back & sides with some absolutely stunning flame figuring in the back. Compensated ebony bridge, tailpiece and pickguard with gold hardware. 16" lower bout width; 2 1/4" - 4 1/2" body depth. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 11.6 oz - light weight & exceptionally resonant!
Pickup: Hofner floating neck humbucker with master volume & tone controls. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included with built-in humidifier & original certificate card. Two of the bottom case nubs have popped off, but are included inside the case.
